Second home back from the beach on Little Gasparilla Island, a bridgeless barrier island off the Cape Haze Peninsula. This home is open, bright and fully furnished, just bring your swimsuit and flip flops. The walk to the beach or dock takes about a minute in either direction. On the large front porch, where you’ll feel the warm tropical breezes, you have views of the beautiful blue-green water of the gulf. There are two porches, one that is covered and could be screened in, and the other is a sun deck and grilling area. There are two bedrooms, the primary bedroom has a ½ bath with upgraded vanity and mirror and the full bath has a laundry closet with a stack washer and dryer. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and was updated a few years ago with shaker style cabinets, butcher block counter tops, designer tile backsplash, and farmer’s sink and faucet. Both sliding glass doors onto the porch pocket back out of the way making the home feel more open. The metal roof was put on in 2024. Soffit and fascia are in the process of being replaced with vented wood soffit. There is vinyl flooring throughout the home. The age of the A/C unit is 2017. New septic tank was installed in 2020. The community boat dock is first come first served; dock dues are $250 a year. Downstairs there is an outdoor shower for you to use when you come back from the beach, or a day out on the boat. There is a new storage shed big enough to hold your golf cart, fishing tackle, and beach toys. Little Gasparilla Island doesn’t have any grocery stores, restaurants, or shops but we have 3 ½ miles of uncrowded beach to wander on and collect seashells and shark’s teeth, swim, or sit with a good book and soak up the sun. There is great fishing in the surrounding waters for redfish, snook, snapper, trout and more. There are sandy trails to drive your golf cart around on and meet all the friendly neighbors. Come see what it’s like living on island time.
